Pondok Ayu
Pondok Ayu is a small hotel in Sanur. This place has a limited number of guest rooms, so you are assured that the hotel will not get crowded. You can even rent the whole place so you can have Pondok Ayu and its super-helpful staff to yourself.
There are many things to do in Pondok Ayu and Sanur. You can pass the whole day lounging by the pool and getting a poolside massage, manicure and pedicure. If you need anything, tell your host and he will find it. He will also drive you to wherever you want to go. You may go shopping in the town center, swimming in Sanur beach (which you should reach in 10 minutes on foot) or sightseeing in neighboring areas like Kuta and Nusa Dua. For food, you may ask the host to cook something for you or you may have dinner in town.
Pondok Ayu is all about personalized service. The only rule that applies appears to be, “Your wish is the staff’s command.” A room in Pondok Ayu costs only around $45 per night.
